Defined scope
Wellbeing and coaching—not treatment.
AWALA Phase 1 is being developed for adults. It is intended to support everyday self-reflection, emotional clarification and non-confrontational stabilisation.
It is not intended to diagnose or treat mental or physical conditions, deliver therapeutic interventions or provide acute crisis support.
Stop and refer
Outside the scope: stop and direct people towards human support.
If content indicates immediate danger or a situation outside the permitted scope, AWALA is intended to stop or avoid deepening the session and direct the person towards appropriate human or professional support.
AWALA cannot monitor whether a person actually reaches the recommended help.
Technical limits
Artificial intelligence can be wrong.
An AI system may misunderstand statements, overlook important context or respond inappropriately. AWALA does not replace human relationships or professional assessment.
Medical, psychological, legal or other consequential decisions should never be based solely on an AWALA interaction.
Phase 1 target architecture
Data minimisation from the beginning
This describes the target architecture. The final technical and legal implementation will be assessed before production use and disclosed specifically.
- No persistent storage of audio recordings
- No persistent storage of full conversation transcripts
- Only necessary, data-minimised technical and evaluation events
- Transparent information before use
Acute crisis
AWALA is not an emergency service.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services without delay. In Germany and throughout the European Union, the emergency number is 112.
In an emergency, do not wait for a response from Mental Fulfillment and do not send crisis information by email.
